As Senior Account Manager, Lieve Bellemans (43) has closely witnessed the evolution of All Colors of Communication. She also felt how her job changed organically over the years.

In her final year of Marketing Communication at Erasmus University College in Brussels, Lieve did her internship in an advertising agency, where she was afterwards offered a permanent job. In the following years, she worked in the marketing department of Exact Software, who at the time were clients of Out Of The Crowd/Whizpr, the former All Colors of Communication. As a result of a reorganization at Exact Software, Lieve started looking for a new challenge after 5 years and joined All Colors of Communication in 2014 as a Project Manager, later as Senior Account Manager.

As an account manager, Lieve is the main contact between the customer and the internal people in the office. “I take on a strategic and advisory role, and I’m responsible for everything from giving strategic advice, working out plans and following up budgets. The nice thing is that as an account manager I work with all the internal teams: content, design, digital, branding and PR”, says Lieve.

Over the years, she has felt her job change organically. “During 7 years at All Colors of Communication, I have continued to learn and grow in my job. It is challenging to step up each time you are given more confidence and more responsibility” says Lieve. “I enjoy that with some clients I can literally be part of their team. Feeling the impact of your own contribution and being co-responsible for their success is what gives me great satisfaction”, she continues.

She also regularly coaches people who just started working. “It is immensely satisfying to mentor young people and pass on my experience and expertise to them. It is nice to follow their progress closely”, says Lieve.

Lieve does not often reflect upon the fact that she has been playing an important role at All Colors of Communication for 7 years now. “It feels like yesterday that I started working. In a way, everything is moving very fast, but then again, it’s not. As long as you invest in what you love to do and get satisfaction from it”, she concludes.
